Is the synthetic brush that much more thrifty with soap than either a boar or badger? I've used plenty of Arko over the years and not gotten this longevity out of a stick.
So, in other words, those people with 80+ soaps shouldn't use a synthetic, unless they're under 12 years of age?
I think I'll stick to the boar for a while longer. I have 8 sticks of Arko left unopened, and if I was as parsimonious as you're managing to be, with the rate I've been shaving, that would be.... a decade's worth of shaving. I'd never get to use the Palmolive!
An Omega 48 was my daily forever. Then I tried Plisson. Ive passed on $$$ brushes. Even PIF of fine badger, because it wouldn't lather as easily a the Plisson.
Arko is a lather machine and i dont hate the scent. I just dont reach for it often. But if someone is on a budget i would highly recommend it.
