I should be used to this by now but I am always blown away by the quality of the shave I get every time I use the C3. There is no faulting this razor on any score. And to think, I almost sold it after my first shave as I didn't take to it at first blush. Haven't posted for a while because I haven't been using a SE razor. But, I used my new OneBlade Core for the first time this morning. It took one less-than-effective pass to get the hang of the angle. First thing I noticed is that there is quite a bit of feedback when you're holding the angle correctly, otherwise it gets quiet. That's the key IMO. Second, because of the very light head I found holding it near the end of the handle worked best for me. Third, I noticed that the plastic handle can get quite slippery if soap gets on it. Because my first pass was for the short learning curve I had touchups after the 3rd pass. It is mild, but not overly so. I don't think you could nick yourself, at least not easily. I ended up with a 3+ pass BBS. I think I like this thing. Also absolutely no AS feedback, was that nice! First Impressions First shave with the OC Dammy and Damaskeene blade. Holy Guacamole what a combo. This combo is nothing short of incredible. The razor did not feel aggressive in the slightest. Finding the angle was instantaneous. Strange I found it not as noisy as my regular Dammy. It still played a beautiful tune. I was left with face rubbing goodness. My Aluminum block gave zero tingle after my 3 pass shave. I am for sure hooked. I will try it tomorrow with a new blade. Although I think it will be hard to beat an old blade with a keen edge. I will be using my new to me type G tomorrow for the first time. I won this beauty in a contest held by @PickledNorthern. Oddly enough, the G and the H are only Schick type that I haven't tried.
