Finished out the blade on a black arkie and hit a nice edge the first time around. I'm starting to learn this stone. Most of the time it has been taking a couple of tries to get the edge right. The DD has always been a very good shaver and I had an excellent shave this morning. Have a good one. Notice the bee in the flower.

Tonight's shave was with a Japanese Razor. I had a very smooth 2 pass shave, with minor touch-ups. No cuts, nicks, or weepers. Only Smoooooooth goodness. This is a fine shaving "Rat Razor"

Today's shave was with my my first successful Straight Razor. I had a very smooth an enjoyable 2 pass shave, no touch-ups. This left me with a DFS. This is a very well built, and great shaving razor, despite the wear.
