The razor has great weight, but can feel a little awkward especially if you are use to a rounded handle. But man what a shave she gives!! She is my FAVORITE SE in my den now.
Late morning shave today. Recovering from the Wine & Dine with some Cha-Cha/Mambo thrown in with my Misses. Awesome night in the city that never sleeps. Anyhow, I had received a couple of blades the other day in a purchase and decided to give them a go with the Ming Shi razor. Yep, Derby Premium Blades. And yes, they are smooth, sharp and gave excellent feedback. Not your run of the mill Derbys Gents. Up there with GSB's, Personna Lab Blues and Polsilver Iridiums. And the upscale packaging is a definite plus. Very classy. A 3 pass shave without a single nic, cut or weeper and no irritation whatsoever. An excellent shave, near BBS when it was said and done. I expected to do a full three passes on this blade because of the razor, but I didn't have to. It just took a few more strokes on touch up to achieve a really smooth and comfortable shave. Two passes with touch up for a really good BBS shave. Also, the Spearmint soap and Lucky Tiger Aspen paired up really nice together.

Country Club for Men has all but sold out of his soaps. I have put in a private order for him to make an additional 3 soaps and 10 deodorants of each of the 3 different scents he's provided for my shave kits (Original Vetiver, Bois du Portugal and Spice & Wood). I think he is willing to make soaps by request, so you could try emailing him to ask. countryclubformen(at)gmail.com He was having a tough time filling all the orders and making enough products to keep up while working his full-time job. And because soaps aren't that profitable, he just couldn't keep doing it. However, I think if a small number of people order soap from him on the side, he might make them. I wish he would still make soaps to offer for sale on his web-shop because he makes really, really great soaps. As good as the best IMO. I think his soaps are on par with WSP, Catie's Bubbles, Ginger's Garden, etc. Kevin is also extremely talented at scent matching. He's managed to be the only one who took on and nailed a compatible scent for 2 of my favorite fragrances. Creed Bois du Portugal (his version is compatible with the fragrance and marries with it well) and Creed Spice & Wood (his version is really, really, really close to the original and is a good dupe). I HIGHLY recommend someone contact him privately and order either of these in soap and aftershave because they are really great smelling and I wish they were available commercially for more people to enjoy.

Efficient and enjoyable! I'll be working on this sample of Soap Commander for a while, so you'll have to get used to the blue bowl again since it'll be in a lot of pictures. Have a great day!
