Thank you guys. The lighter color does appears to be a G8 and the other is a G1. I got this from the web site www.safetyrazors.net/schick/schicktech.htm. That now means I have two G1's & a G8.

The one on the left was may first then the other two I got today. This is after running the razors through the new ultrasonic cleaner with a small drop of dawn dish soap.

Found this at the antique store today. It's kinda odd as the head is a little different. Instead of the triangle shape its square. The date code is a D1. What year is that

I have a Y4 black handle and it also has the square shape and was told that Gillette just changed the design in later years. Yours is also different in that it has a full checkered handle and no vertical grooves like in previous years.

Hey man...stay hydrated....It's not asmuch about age as just biology...Stay hydrated and keep those electrolytes flowing...Eat potassium, AND stay out of the direct Sunlight...And wear a hat! The G8 has that handle that looks like the Transatlantic Pyramid in San Fransico....At the time that razor was designed it was futuristic and Art-Nouveau....Now time has caught up with it and you'd probably call it "Late-Modernistic"...I've always been impressed by that razor...not only beautiful but that style handle is great to hold....even with soapy fingers!

I sent 2 injectors...One E2 and one G8....If it hasn't been piffed...try it...

About 140ish. I thought you sent the E2 and a G1. I should still have it. The G1 up for a PIF at TOST now came from a little lot I bought.
