1. I'm going to do exactly that - go to the equivalent of a 12 K and then finish on the Arkie. Some of it is adjusting technique as well as you point out. :happy088:
  2. Today's shave was with a razor I 've only used a time or two, but it performs great. I had a very comfortably smooth 2 pass shave, that left me with a DFS. Zero issues. Just a solid performing razor.

Razor- Ger man "Der Original Schultz".
    Brush- Semogue 1800
Soap- Lisa's Natural Herb Creations "Tobacco & Bay"
    Aftershave- Osage Rub

Nice shave this morning. First shave with the Manchurian knot and first shave with L&L Grooming's soap. Way overloaded the brush with soap. This is the only factory brush I own. Have a good one.

  6. Berkshire Cutlery. I'm spending the holiday at the lake at the state park in Holland. Last nights shave was in the rest room. Had a couple of guys walk by and give a sideways glance.

  7. Absolutely a gorgeous razor, Ocsar!
  8. Spyder, thanks. I have a couple of Friodurs, the one pictured and a 6/8 both are good shavers.
  9. Nobody messes with someone with a straight razor in their hands... :D Were you wearing your TSD gang colors?

  11. I just had a wonderful shave with this Pipe razor I won in a TSD raffle. Smooth, sharp, great reduction, super easy to find the best angle and to maneuver. I really like this razor. :happy036:

    Happy shaving - Karl
  12. Tonight's shave was with a recently acquired, restored, and honed razor. I had a very nice and smooth 2 pass shave, that left me BDBS. Zero issues. I do like using and honing these old Wade & Butchers.

Razor- Wade & Butcher, Keen Shaver. Sheffield England.
    Brush- Semogue 1800
Soap- Lisa's Natural Herbal Creations "Tobacco & Bay". Very nice mild scent. I'm not a big fan of Tobacco, or Bay, but this stuff works together.
