Thank you Mark. @ram57 sent me the Proline blades to try and I can say I am impressed. I have read where many think they are smoother and more forgiving than Feather Pro blades. I am not sure of that yet but I can say they are as efficient as the Feather Pro blades.

 

I absolutely love Stirling Electric Sheep. LOVE. Yeah, it's my all time favorite.
The Weber PH would make my top 3, overall great shaver.
RazoRock Chubby is a rockstar.
Smell good. Feel good. Wet shaving.

 

I couldn't agree with you more on the Electric Sheep. It's dynamite!

Barrister & Mann Seville today. 20 seconds to load the Elite/TGN Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Vintage Wilkinson Sword “Light Brigade” in the Black Handle Flare Tip SS. Excellent smooth, close shave. I finished with Country Club Southern Oud aftershave.

Post shave photo of a truly enjoyable shave of firsts. After an initial whiff the tub of Ghost Town Barber I wasn't so sure about it, but after whipping it up for the first run of the Stirling best badger knot newly mounted in the 30DC LE handle it produced an incredible scent which stayed with me through the morning. Fatboy on 7 cooperated nicely. Clubman reinforced the Barbershop vibe. Shave on, gentlemen!

•4Ward (4 blade Chinese disposable from Dollar Tree with "Swiss blades")

2 pass BBS. Potently slimy aloe strip actually helped the pulliness of the blades, which were sharp enough. No nicks or anything, good shave...yeah, it's a disposable but I wouldn't tell anyone to avoid these. I wonder if they're carbon, which would explain that sharp/pull feeling. Leaving the razor wet to see how fast rust develops.

AH, the magic of the Rapira Swedish Super Steel blade. Top 3 blade in the world if you ask me. If you have never tried this wonderful blade, do so asap !!! I used a soap sample I was generously given by a member of TSD called Veggie 2.0 and I love it. I don't know what it is or where I can get more. Does anyone know what this amazing soap could be?

Honestly, I wasn't sure how this blade was going to work, as I've seen people say it's a hit or miss blade. And combined with my face feeling a bit irritated because of the heat and humidity lately, I decided to take my time with a full three pass shave today. This razor has always been a bit aggressive for me, but today with the reversible blade, not more so than with a Personna Gem blade. Taking my time and overlapping short strokes, it gave me a smooth BBS shave. Some day I will have to get a Gem Clog Pruf for these blades as I think they would work really good in them. But even though they're made for Micromatics, it does seem to fit my G-Bar without any movement, so who knows........
