    Can you straight razor shave daily?

    I tend to need to and can handle it with a DE very well or at least as well as to be expected.

    Anyone have a good website or video on doing XTG and ATG with a straight?

    Way to go, Frank! Figuring out how to hold the razor will come with practice, but it takes a while. Be sure to use way more firm skin stretching that you need to with a DE. I rub my fingers on the alum bloc to help grip soapy skin. That was a game changer for me.

    I shavette daily. Yes! Absolutely. Once you master it, it's far more gentle than safety razors.

    Focus on wtg first. It I'll take 10-15 shaves to master just that part.

    Just as an 'interesting', and not meaning anything at all. I can't even reach my couch right now. Once my wife went out of town, I shoved the furniture into a pile so I can move things around to clean/repair/replace and get rid of stuff.

    As for tonight, that's another shave round. I think I'll go ahead and have some fun with it, because otherwise this week's been a pile of ... yes.

    I did that! I remember all of you saying alum helps with holding and I applied some during the shave. It is amazing how much you pick up just paying attention to all of you.

    Anyone who uses a popsicle stick razor as his first straight shave can't be all bad! Or all sane, perhaps. But great shave!

    Grand daughter got a 3rd in a National Highland Dance Competition. Very proud of her. She goes to Scotland later this year for the Worlds.
    This competition was in Prince Edward Island.

    Thank you Clint. The handle is a good one for sure. Just the right weight, length, and size for me.

    Golfed with a friend that got a hole in one on the 12th hole today. No bounce, no roll straight in from 152 yards.

    It was his first at this course. His second hole in one. I have 2 at this course, but not on the 12th hole. It was a great shot.
