At 5.25 GBP each for export, it would have to be a dozen, but I'm sure I could find some other great bargains on the site. The dollar's so strong against the GBP now. I've got a ceramic dish, but I'd have to add bowl for the MWF also.
Used MWF with my Simpson Commodore X2 and enjoyed the most wonderful shave! I can tell MWF apart from all other soaps during the shave and even more so after the shave...no soap provides a closer shave or more supple skin.
I've got Mitchell's Wool Fat on tap for tomorrow's shave. I usually go with it on Fridays - Fat Friday!!
So I ordered MWF, and it arrived today. I will be shaving with it in the morning. Looking forward to finding out what all the hollering(both +&-) is about.
Some say its hard to lather but ive never found that to be true. Try loading a little longer than usual and start out with a little drier brush.
Great minds think alike! After doing a lot of reading and watching before I ordered, that's the game plan. I'm gonna beat it like a rented mule with the 10098.
Many shavers - especially newcomers to wet shaving- have found the MWF pucks frustratingly difficult to lather. I admit my first half dozen attempts with it were disappointing. When I finally did manage to get the proper water ratio down, glorious results....
Yea its not as easy as some soaps that explode with lather as soon as you touch it. But in my opinion there is no soap made that can compete with MWF in slickness or post shave feel.
Great review. I really feel sad for ones that think Wool Fat soap is a non-performer, they are truly missing out on one of the true Gems of the wet shaving world. It is the only soap that I use every week on Fat Tuesday, and this week I started using it on Canada Day through Independence Day, and finish up on the 7th for Fatness Week in July. I have Haslinger as well and IMO, it does not measure up to MWF.
