I am back from a trip to Virginia. I found three packages waiting for me. One contained GEM Reversible blades from @jimjo1031 to try out. I am joining the party today with my GEM MMBT. These blades were made especially for the Micromatic razors. I had gotten some before, but they were all rusted. This one was in good shape, so I wanted to give it a try. It is ingenious the way the blade works. There are two protrusions under the cap that come down and engage the cutouts on the sides of the blade. Then, as you twist the button, the cap slides forward and the blade rests securely on the stops. I got a wonderful shave with this setup this morning. I rinsed the blade and did a belly strop with it and put it back in the razor for tomorrow's shave.
  12. Thanks Andrew. Have a great day buddy! :)

    Razor: Schick E2
    Blade: Personna
    Brush: Razorock Plissoft 22
    Cream: KMF fragrance-free
    Post: Alum, Listerine, WH

Since I was going to be sending my G1 today to another DENizen who will appreciate it more, I thought I would shave with its E2 counterpart. Overall, it was a great choice and a drama-free DFS.
