Actually if you are in the '55-'58 period you're covered by the I. If you're past that then step up to the J ('59 - '64.)

And, hey, what wife wouldn't love a nice Schick I? :scared003:

    Belly strop....I got nuttin......

    Get it on!!!

Another great shave with the G8 today. Had to make it kinda fast. The D.R. Harris Windsor shave stick and JR 137 knocked out the lather. Boosters polar ice finished it all up.

Speaking of Boosters after shave .....does anyone else dig this stuff? I think it's made in Canada.

The Jeeves of Hudson Street Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #199 synthetic brush. I did the two passes with the GEM Micromatic Bullet Tip razor and GEM Reversible SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Lucky Tiger AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Now that the G1 pif is done across the street I am thinking it's time for one here. Up next will be a OCMM. Question is would it be better to put up a nice used set in a bakelite box or a NOS in a cardboard box? What say the SE gang?

With this blade still quite aggressive, but very efficient and yields ultra close finish.

You could do both, or make it a choice. All of my MMs were without box. I won a bakelite box in a pif a couple of years ago, so now I let my MMs take turns sleeping in it. (See MMBT below taking the first nap.) They are nice. I don't have the matching blade banks though. I am not a purist. I do like using the old razors though.

Edit: I was mistaken. I did get one MMBT in its own box along with instructions.
