A very nice DFS shave with a new tub of this L&L soap. The soap has a very complex scent, but I could detect enough sandalwood that the aftershave and cologne matched up pretty well. Overall great shave.

 

SOTD: Vintage Sheffield 6/8" razor from Joseph Rodgers & Sons (late 1800s); L'Occitane 'Cade' soap with a plash of TSD M-Bomb menthol, Brad Sears Shave Works silvertip brush, and Stirling 'Sharp Dressed Man' aftershave splash. First use of Reef Point, and the results were nice. Good lather and slickness, nice cushion, etc. Overall terrific shave.

Just can't stay away from my Stirling soaps for more than one day - they always start crying for me to come back. One thing I'll say is that I can't wait to get my new Glacial MITA bowl, but there's nothing wrong with the regular version either. It lathers, smells, and gives wonderful cooling. The Lucky Tiger balm is addictive, and this Bergamot Vetiver splash from Henri et Victoria smells great. Not only that, it gives plenty of skincare and it's very mentholated!
