The C.O. Bigelow Shaving Cream face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #204 horse hair brush. I did the two passes with the Maggard Slant razor and Rockwell Swedish Stainless Steel blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Lucky Tiger AS and Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Shaving soap: Pré de Provence.
Razor: Claymore V2 / Rocnel greep.
Mesje: Kai Titan Mild (3).
After shave: Proraso Cypress & Vetiver after shave cream.

Hello folks, today's SOTD-



Today I used my Gillette American Rocket. These razors, for whatever reason were made in America, but manufactured in the style of the English Gillette Rocket. They were sold as A Milord Tech at sometime around 1949 or 1950. They are somewhat uncommon. I do not know why they were made. I don't think anyone does. But this one shaves like a dream. I had a fantastic shave of a three day beard. It only took two passes with the Bolzano blade in the razor. I'll call it a two pass BBS! God Bless, and have a great day!

Nice and enjoyable shave this morning. A slight and refreshing menthol effect from Stirling Grapefruit. Nice scent and overall great skin care as expected. Nice way to start off the work week.
