  2. Quality shave with the new Crown King/PAA brush and Rte 66 Cavendish soap. Next time I use a soap&brush, I'm going to do just the one pass&see how that goes.

25 July 2017 OLD Blade Focus
    Shave

Pre: Hot water, a lot of it, soap out of the container and a hot towel
    Razor: See above
    Blade: PolSilver Super Iridium
Brush: JJ#1, USS Belleau Wood tribute brush
    Soap: Catie's Bubbles "Barnegat Bay"
Post: Hot/Cold water rinse, alum block, cold towelx2, Dominello Vitali Calming Post Shave Moisturizer
After Shave: Clubman Virgin Island Bay Rum

For this morning's shave I used another one of Catie's Bubbles soaps. This one was "Barnegat Bay". Of all the Bay Rum type soaps in my den, this one has the strongest bay scent. It's also very slick and protective. The OLD/PSI combo teamed up for a very smooth DFS shave. 2.5 passes and a little J hooking on my lower neck and we are ready to rock!
Splashed on the one and only Clubman VIBR and this rainy Central NJ Tuesday was transformed into a trip to the islands!!
    :happy069:No worries mon!

For me a near perfect work morning shave. I really enjoy the Route 66 Bay Lime Twist. The citrus with the bay is a neat twist and works great on a hot humid morning. I did make sure to add a touch more water to make the lather a little thinner and slicker. With a new Feather loaded, I went back to a 2 pass shave with the first pass XTG followed by an ATG pass. By paying attention to my trouble spots and skin stretching as I went the results were fantastic. A splash of F&C Shambala and I am ready for the day. I hope everyone has a great Tuesday.

Back at home after a week away and back on focus. Day 12 of the NEW focus, 2nd day with this blade. Did shave with this combo a week ago and then left right afterwards. Had 2 decent shaves with my travel setup ('51 Ball End Tech w Astra, Omega Travel Boar, Proraso Green) in between.
Whipped up a great lather this morning as I was reminded again that Jeeves is a top notch product. This knot is knocking it out of the park now that it is set at 14mm in this handle. 3 passes to a near BBS. Have focussed on skin stretching upwards to do a better job on the right jawline without any touch ups, and the advice of Chris and Clint has made a difference.
Finished with the super Chatillon Lux and am happy to be home after a great week away. Started to get caught up on TSD, and will spend some more time on it today, it doesn't take much to get behind!
    Have a great day all!
