  1. Beautiful photo as usual Doug. What do you think of the Sabre and the scent of the soap?

  2. Well, thank you for your kind works Clint. The scent of the soap is fantastic. I left the container open in the bathroom and when I returned the room was full of the scent. (A 1) The Sabre is a great razor. Extremely easy to load the blade, very easy to get a close comfortable shave, and very well balanced. So far I like it very much.
  3. man, if I can't smell my Stirling aftershave tomorrow, we know my cold has hit its peak.
  4. Crazy busy time for me right now with outdoor band camp starting yesterday. Had to shelter twice yesterday afternoon due to lightning. Today was better as far as weather. The rest of the week is looking HOT. But, it is what it is! We have to be out there and learning......there's no way around it.

I have been shaving but in the evenings so that my face doesn't light up from after shave and sunscreen, etc. I've been continuing to use the Soap Commander Courage sample. I'll be back to a more normal schedule soon. Meanwhile I'll read through when I can. Keep on keeping on!
  5. Just the description on the soap label had me tempted to order. ;) The Sabre is one very cool looking razor.
  6. Are you PLAYING in the band or DIRECTING it?
  7. Perry take care in the heat. Thanks for all the work you do with the young people. :happy088:
  8. Ha! I'm a high school band director! I did my fair share of playing in them in high school and college and then continued for my career.
  9. Thank you, Clint!
  10. Oh that's riiight...it comes back to me now.
  11. For some reason images posted to TSD upload aren't showing up in Tapatalk. Bummer , I really want to see your Sabre. I bet it looks great.

  13. Looks great Andrew and shaves even better. :happy088: Images usually show up for me on Tapatalk.

  14. No, I think they got a little wet at some point. When I totally emptied the magazine, there was a spot of what looked like rust on the spring. I cleaned it up, though, and reloaded with Schick Proline B blades. (Surprisingly hard to do. It seems to be easier to reload a modern magazine.)

I definitely need to spend some time with the G8. Tomorrow, however, will be the J1 with a Proline. :)
  15. Beautiful picture, Doug!
  16. :thanks: Jim.
