Thanks very much. The brush is actually mid to late 50's. I removed the original knot restored the handle, added some weight to the handle and dropped in the Tuxedo knot.
WILLIAMS WEDNESDAY I am really getting to like the Williams. I find the 1902 to be a nice mild and smooth shave. I love the handle Jim @Jayaruh made. Tom Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
I would say the same about my 1902. Very above adverage shave. Are you using a wedge blade? That might be a silly question.
WILLIAMS WEDNESDAY shave. 1913 ER treet blade with my 30DC tuxedo doing the work on the older Williams. Awesomelicious shave!!
Great!!! I am going to get around to sending you mt Kampfe blade. If it can be saved you get first shave with it.
Great job. I'm thinking to do a couple my self. I have seen quite a few different knots on eBay and looking forward at trying my hand in it. Wow Tom That's great. Just makes my desire even more to pick up one. Might have to settle for the Williams shaving soap first.

Thursday's Shave Proraso Pre Shave Van Der Hagen Luxury Shave Soap Jayaruh #206 Gem Jr. 1911 Lather Catcher Original Gem Cutlery SE CWR Thayer's Lemon WH Aqua Velva Ice Blue It looks like my Aristocrat is in Greenville, SC, so that means it will probably be delivered on Thursday afternoon, so I will be shaving once again with this awesome SE razor. It is cool to shave with SE blades over 100 years old. I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Van Der Hagen Luxury Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #206 Badger brush. I did the two passes with the Gem Jr. 1911 Lather Catcher with an Original Gem Cutlery SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
