I made my wife a very happy camper because although I used a soap which she bloody HATES the scent of, I used an aftershave which she's crazy about. Let's start with the soap: The Black Ice is one of my top Stirling favorites - it's got such a lovely anise scent, tons of rich, slick lather, and great cooling as well as such moisturizing, soothing post-shave care. Madame smelled the soap's scent before when I was lathering up and said "Oh la la, not again!" but I just kept doing my thing and got a most delightful BBS shave. The Lucky Tiger balm felt so good when I was massaging it in to my face and here's the main scoop - when I slapped on the Fougere Santal aftershave from Reef Point she was already in the kitchen making coffee. When I went to my chair she said "Cheri, you smell delicious - let me kiss you!" and did she ever! That aftershave was something she bought me as a gift from Italian Barber. It has an awesome scent and a nice menthol sensation! Wishing all my peeps a great weekend!

Night Music This was one of those shaves that felt great during, but not so much after. I got a few small weepers and burn on my neck even though I took my time. I used CL US Salve and later Proraso White balm to put out the fire. Maybe it was the fresh feather blade, this is the last of a pack I've had sitting around for a couple years. Do they degrade over time?
