    Super Speed/Rapira day 4

If this setup doesn't freeze a man's face off, nothing will!

Yet another great brush. I searched around for one like that months ago and never found one that had the black 'fire' effect. That brush would pair incredibly well if I were to build a Dior Fahrenheit inspired shave kit (which I have considered, but ultimately decided not to build).

If you can't get a Declaration, there is a vendor on Etsy that is doing very similar handles....

First use of the famous Mitchell's Wool Fat... and it was a great debut indeed. Not hard to lather as I was led to believe by some comments online and a great performance giving a very slick and protective surface to the Silverhawk/Feather combo to mow down the whiskers. Superb shave in the end.

    Thursday's Shave
    zcws.gif

    Proraso Pre Shave
    VDH Deluxe Shaving Soap
    Jayaruh #18
    Gillette Aristocrat
    Gillette Super Stainless, “The Spoiler”
    CWR
    Thayer's Peach WH
    Pinaud Vanilla

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The VDH Deluxe Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #206 Badger brush. I did the two passes with the Gillette Aristocrat with a Gillette Super Stainless blade ("The Spoiler" R3, 1971) and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Peach WH and then Pinaud Vanilla AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Hi friends,
    Wonderful SOTD!
I haven't used MdC in a very long time, maybe 1 year? It's expensive, but this is that one soap that's worth it. Fantastic lather, excellent post shave.
I loaded the Ti Baby Smooth with a Polsilver and went for it, superb results. I'm going to buy another 100 of these blades, I like them that much.
Finished with Thayer's Cucumber, good stuff..
RazoRock Acqua aftershave and EdT work well with any soap.

The third shave with the Rocnel SE-G and my last. Perhaps the best shave with it of the three. Used a GEM SS PTFE 11 times used blade and it was still smooth as silk. Not much stubble from yesterdays amazing shave with the Cobra, but enough to get a comfortable 2 pass shave to restore a near BBS feel. The Rocnel is a great GEM razor and used with a light touch and care can match any top tier razor shave for shave. Finished it off with some Old School Aqua Velva Musk and a great, refreshing shave. Have a great evening and shaves Gents.... :happy088:

    Razor: Rocnel SE-G
    Blade: GEM SS PTFE #12

Toner: Manetti & Roberts Rose Water
    W/H: Humphreys Citrus
    A/S Splash: Aqua Velva Musk

Shovelhead. I experimented with skipping the WTG pass and going straight to the ATG pass on the back of my head, and this seemed to work well enough. Nice shave, I much prefer the 1924 to the '12 at least for my head shave.[IMG]

Tonight's shave was with a very nice, and sharp, Japanese Razor/ I had a very smooth and comfortable 2 pass shave, with minor touchup around the chin. This left me with a BBS face, without any nicks, cuts, or weepers. A very well built razor.

Razor- Japanese "KYOEI 55". Extra Steel
    Brush- B400 By Tom
    Soap- Stirling Ozark Mountain
    Aftershave- Florida Water
