  1. Whew, ok. I promise not to do that ^^^^ again.
  2. I could never listen to a professor lecture, ever. Hence my career in construction.

  3. I get lavender and peppermint with something like rosemary in the background. I enjoy the aftershave and find it works well with a variety of soaps.

  4. You need to critique our photos a bit more.

  5. Don't come to the south. It's hot and humid through September. Some years it's bad into October.

  6. So true. Last summer she interned with the Narcotics Squad in Alabama so I we didn't really see her. This summer she moved back in which makes the moving out bitter sweet.

3 August 2017 OLD Blade Focus Shave

Pre: A drenching of Hot water, soap from the container and a hot towel
Razor: 1911 Gillette Single Ring OLD Type
    Blade: Rapira Platinum Lux
Brush: JJ#1 USS Belleau Wood CVL-24 tribute brush by @jimjo1031
    Soap: The Cella
Post: Hot/Cold water rinse, alum block, cold towelx2, Dominello Vitali Calming Post Shave Moisturizer
    After Shave: Cella Lozione Dopobarba

For my Thursday shave I went with one of my favorite soaps; Cella.
Slick, cushiony and leaves a great face feel.
The OLD/Platinum Lux duo delivered a 2.5 pass DFS. There was some drop off, but by Thursday I expect it.
Splashed on some Cella Lozione Dopobarba and my day was off to a great start.

  10. Go ahead and post one this morning and I will critique it :angelic007:.
  11. Again, not enough self promotion. Something like "I made you into the man you are. No need to thank me. Someday you may be strong, smart and handsome like me." would be appropriate. Sprinkling in an occasional "you're welcome" for no apparent reason is also key.
  12. Jim @jimjo1031 does good work. I have him doing a couple of reknots for me that I just haven't had the time to do. Cant wait to see how they turn out!
  13. Another great picture, Clint! :happy088:
  14. Nice shot, Perry!
  15. Thanks very much Andrew.

    Rubberset 400
    Stubble Trubble Lavender Lemonade
    Gillette Slim
    Big Ben (4)
    Stirling Unscented PSB
    Two Girls Florida Water AS

A very nice shave this morning with the Slim and a terrific soap. The Florida Water pairs nicely with the soap, and makes for a great wrap up to a DFS. I hope everyone has a great day!
  18. Your photo has a very "north of the wall" feel to it, Jim. Very cool!
  19. I feel Adam @Drygulch & Jared @PickledNorthern pain. Step away from the forum for a couple hours and it's entertaining. Miss a day or two and there's no catching up. There's no harm in Wall-O-Text responses. It may be the only way for our wayward Crew members to maintain their connection. @Shave Fu was a *Special* case, but he did establish the style and it works to do a comprehensive catch up.
  20. Great shot, Jim! The lavender lemonade soap sounds intriguing.
