E2 with a Chick, well-hydrated badger bush, and a Tardis full of lather. The result- a BBS in two. I really like this razor which is strange because the E2 has such a reputation for aggressiveness that I expected not to.
SE Sunday's Shave Proraso Pre Shave Mitchell's Wool Fat Shaving Soap Jayaruh #18 Gem 1911 Lather Catcher CVS SE CWR Thayer's Peach WH Pinaud Vanilla I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Mitchell's Wool Fat Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #18 Badger brush. I did the two passes with the Gem 1911 Lather Catcher and vintage Gem Jr. blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Peach WH and then Pinaud Vanilla AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

August 6, 2017 Razor: Schick J1 Injector Blade: Schick Proline B Brush: 30DC/Pure Badger Cream: KMF fragrance-free Post: Alum, Listerine, WH Nice smooth shave from the J1 and Proline... BBS (or close enough) with no issues. Still coming to terms with the knot I put in this brush. The trick seems to be lots of water and extra cream. I need to remember to try squeezing it out while lathering and see if it's just hogging the lather.

I really enjoy this razor and should use it more often. It's great for mowing down two days of growth as I did today. Smooth and comfortable. Have a great day!
