Memorable Monday I used 1803 today to remind myself how much I like the scent and performance. I'm glad it didn't sell, this is a reminder for me to avoid impulsive sales. The shave was superb in every aspect. I only wish the aftershave scent was stronger, or that 1803 was offered in a solid cologne or EdT. SOTD: Considered using a traditional Japanese kamisori but too lazy on my day off. Settled for an easier shave with a more typical 'western-style' Japanese razor, this fine FON Golden Star 13/16," Martin de Candre 'Fougére' soap, vintage 1905 Rubberset boar, and a spiced citrus finish from Musgo Real #3 aftershave. Easy, thick, slick, lather. I moved the Vintage Gillette Platinum Plus to the Black Handle Super Speed. Excellent smooth, close shave. I finished with Bulgari Man in Black EdT. Bob

Has a pleasant scent that is heavier on the orange than the ginger. It whipped up a creamy lather very quickly and was impressed with the lather quality. Excellent first impression. Got a great BBS shave and finished off with T&S Classic. Hope everyone had a great shave!

Gillette Bostonian (Canada) Razor Treet Carbon Black Beauty Blade Ever-Ready #1 Boar Brush (restored) Proraso Green Soap Dickinson's Witch Hazel Lucky Tiger Aspen After Shave This razor and blade combo turned out to be an excellent choice. Also, since restoring brushes, this brush is my most used boar brush and is turning out to be an excellent performer, it just feels so good. Had a near perfect shave with two passes and with just a hint of touch up in one spot under my chin afterwards, I had an extremely smooth and comfortable BBS shave.
