Possible. I only had a couple. I'm working my way through out-of-tuck blades. Early on in my Newb days I received PIF blades from a couple folks and these may be from one of those very appreciated shipments.
Sounds like a good approach. As for the STD-301, I'm no longer convinced that its a "bad" blade but I suspect that it is one of those really polar blades, like the Derby Extra. In my case, it seemed to only work well with one of my razors. I await your quantification of its properties.

August 9th Clix w Nacet (2) TGN Boar Soap Commander Endurance Thayers Barrister's Reserve Spice Shaved this afternoon, as we are going out for dinner to celebrate our Anniversary. My wife enjoys Old Spice, hence the Endurance/Reserve Spice combo. Stuck to the Clix as part of my 'mini-focus' on the Clix and the Lux during days I don't use the Adjustable this month. I got as good a lather out of the Endurance as I think I possibly can and went to work on three passes plus touch ups. I went truly ATG on my neck, which I rarely do. Chased the baby, caught it, and am paying with some neck irritation. Love the Reserve Spice and am looking forward to a nice night out. Have a great evening, all!
Beautiful photo. You have that brush looking fantastic. I'm ashamed to take SOTD picture of mine now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
