The coconut lime smells a lot like a pina colada. If she likes that kind of vibe, it's a really nice scent.

Sorry about that. We always keep some reserve stock and I just put those on a short while ago. I've gotten 2 calls and three emails about the Agar already, so I'm fairly certain that I will be doing that one again across all product lines soon.

 

I'm so forgetful - the Glacial Eskimo Tuxedo soap performed brilliantly for me this morning. I was enjoying the magnificent Sharp Dressed Man scent and that rich, slick lather so much. As always the menthol power had me squinting during all three passes. Finishing off such an icy-cold shave with the Glacial Unscented balm was a perfect idea. Does that stuff ever feel good!

 

No worries Rod. I've got plenty of other Stirling soaps to fall back on.

 

Just got mine in. Just sniffing the puck, both Agar and The Lounge are incredible scents. I would love aftershave in both. I now have 15 full size Stirling Soaps and these two are tight at the top scent wise.

Thanks Rod for that info. So I have a green bottle of Barbershop from sometime in 2014 or 2015 and it still smells, feels, and works great. You make some great soap and aftershave. I'm not a big hoarder of software, about eight soaps, creams, and/or croaps, and seven aftershaves. Two of the soaps and three of the aftershaves are Stirling. Yours is the only brand that I have multiples of, unless I count Asylum Colonia as SV, then I have two of those. My Stirling roster: Bay Rum soap, MITA soap, MITA splash, EM with menthol splash, and Barbershop splash.

 

Mine too, by about 15 to one. Or forty five to three.

 

The Lounge has arrived! I'm terrible at scent descriptions so don't get your hopes up for a stellar review. I am reminded of a mass market bath soap when I smell The Lounge. I can't pin down the specific bar soap, but the overall scent reminds of a mix of that soap and Tabac. My first smell instinct is soapy followed by the tobacco element. In any event it smells terrific!

 

Stirling is not the only soap I have multiples of, but it is the one I have the most of by a large margin.

After using the Glacial Black Cherry soap this morning I feel like kicking myself in the tukhis for only buying one. Its scent is so beautiful - it's not a Kool-Aid type of smell, but very fresh and natural as well as lingering. I'm still in shock from how easy it is to lather and the menthol effect is mega-frigid just like the other Glacials!

 

I used SDM soap and AS this morning. First time in awhile I reached for that instead of Eskimo Tuxedo, and glad I did! The scent is stronger in SDM, and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience!

 

@SharptoothC - Did your order of The Lounge come in? What do you think of the scent?

 

I got in The Lounge and Agar. I have had a chance to lather both now. They were packaged with a sample of Executive Man and that turned out to be part of what I was smelling. Soap scents in a box on a hot humid day tend to mingle, it seems. Don't judge a scent until it is opened and lathered. That said, it turns out I really like Executive Man. As to the Lounge and Agar, it's strange...now that I have opened and lathered them, I have a difficult time distinguishing the scents. Like, going back and forth they smell like the same soap. I kind of expected the Lounge to be more smokey or boozey. They have something of a bitter herb and wood thing going to me...kind of in the ballpark of Baker Street. It's what I expected for Agar. I like it, just not what I expected for The Lounge. Unless there was a mixup, you don't need both. Like I said, I cannot distinguish them. As to performance, it's Stirling. You know what to expect.

I'll use the Glacial Wintergreen soap and balm tomorrow. I'll also the matching witch hazel for an extra boatload of powerful menthol.

@dustmite Some guys find that the Eskimo Tuxedo's scent is drowned out by the menthol but I don't. They also find the SDM's scent to be milder than usual but I find it perfect.

 

I'm supposed to get my order today.... I'm not sure what to go with.....probably Eskimo Tuxedo. I got the SDM AS with added menthol: glacial

Ahhhhh, a very good choice and with the extra-mentholated SDM aftershave you'll freeze even more and you'll smell great. I'd love to be able to get those alcohol-based aftershaves shipped here but Canadian customs are merciless.

 

I'll post my reaction on YouTube, lol. Isn't there a Canadian retailer for Stirling? Can't Rod "sneak" in a bottle of glacial as for you
