I sat on hold a bit then got busy again. But I"ll give it another shot or two. Also emailed them just to say I did. My usual luck with contacting manufacturers is.......none. They seem to like a low profile approach.
Another little smile from the shave universe: I took my kids to our local Burlington's for school clothes shopping. They are moving locations and had a liquidation sale going. I scored the last bottle of Proraso Green AS (one of my favorites) for a shade under $4. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
Yeah School Clothes Shopping Day. My wife is taking my daughter to our last one. Don't know whether to laugh or cry.
Hijack: What if doctors had to give free consults to try to earn your business instead of you having to pay $200 to find out if they are a douchebag or not, and then you move on and do it all over again? Bonus points if you can guess what I did this morning.
I scored today. Six shorts, six shirts, shoes, socks, hats, soap, aftershave and a tagine cooking pot for $150. Can't beat it. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
My kids already went back this week. I was annoyed that it was a total ripoff, until I realized the kids are back in a routine, and my wife is happier. Now enlightened I'm coloring in my "ban summer break "poster as we speak!
Last ones are hard. I really wanted to cry. I had to take another for her first one. We have one graduating, one just starting first grade, and one in his first year of middle school. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
You must live farther south than I do. Around here we stopped wearing shorts two weeks ago. When out son graduated we stopped buying clothes for him except Christmas present type stuff. His girlfriend might be the only one who notices. My daughter Imelda Marcos II, actually works and buys most (almost all) of her own stuff. I know it is sort of a girl thing, but Holy Mother of God that 17 year old has clothes. Just two nights ago I asked her (because we were talking about school shopping), how many pullover, hoodie sweatshirts she had. She said she thought 11. But that it's not like she's gonna wear the same hot pink "NameBrand X" thing she wore when she was twelve for God's sake. I responded that she had best get acquainted with Goodwill, cause she could pay for a year's college room and board just selling off her stuff.
I feel that pain. The medical system is painful. Found out today a medicine my daughter needs is going to be $100 a month (bypassing insurance and using a discount card). If I use my insurance, it's $300 a month because they refuse to pay on it. Unless, of course, I first attempt to use a different medicine that two separate doctors concluded would actually worsen her symptoms. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
Do we have the same daughter? Loved the Imelda Marcos reference. I would use it on her but she is too young to get it. I live just a bit further south. Here in South Carolina we are in triple digits and high humidity. I will be in shorts until December. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
Extra points for anyone who knows what a tangine cooking pot is. For those of you curious, I did not earn any extra points today.
OK, off topic fun fact in the "unhijackable thread"... I sang in praise teams with a Philipino brother who was the "court singer" for the Marcos family. Dude can sing. Just saying...
