After a day off with the Barbasol, it is nice to be back to the OCMM. It was another very nice shave this morning.

  4. I have some obligations that will likely prevent me from riding next weekend but there is always the chance.

Another uneventful but great shave. I really can ask for more. I hope everyone has a great Tuesday.
  7. I know. With or without Wade I am trying to get a 3 day weekend of riding in during September. It really depends on my health at this point.
  8. Thank you, Clint!
  9. Beautiful picture, Clint!
  10. First shave in 4 days and it was amazing possibly the best shave I’ve ever had. The face is BBS no sting at all from the Alum just an awesome 3 pass shave with the Schick injector on 7.

    WTG, touch up

Nice Tobacco Tuesday shave this morning. Soap Commander Fortitude lathered up beautifully. The scent is great and reminds me of Route 66 Rum Runner that I used the other day. I guess the rum element is fairly strong in both. Anyway, great lather that is slick and protective. Nice finish with the Jeeves splash. Nice and easy all around.

    Have a great day!

  12. I can't remember. Paging @Jayaruh! Jim - do you recall what type of wood made the handle for #142? It's a GREAT brush.
  13. I've been focusing on four passes and having great results. This morning I realized that I was finished after two. There was no reason for anymore passes. I'm smooth and feeling good

  14. I'll have to see later how the Stoylin Lime feels....I mean, I used it this morning and got that normal Stoylin fresh baby-soft feel, but the scent hasn't quite kicked in yet. I'm sure it would have, had I used the normal size.
  15. Your Lucky Tiger sets your face up for the Ghost-Town Barber, right?
  16. Yes, it does.

22 August 2017 Adjustable August Blade Focus Shave

Pre: Hot water, soap from the container and a hot towel
    Razor: 1967 Gillette Slim Adjustable
    Blade: Gillette Silver Blue
Brush: JJ#1 USS Belleau Wood CVL-24 tribute brush by @jimjo1031
    Soap: Regiment Shaving's "High Speed"
Post: Hot/Cold water rinse, alum block, cold towelx2, Dominello Vitali Calming Post Shave Moisturizer
After Shave: Fine Accoutrements "American Blend"

For this morning's Adjustable August shave I broke out the veteran owned and operated Regiment Shaving Soap "High Speed". JJ#1 whipped up some lemon limey goodness that I smushed all over my mug. As usual the Gillette Silver Blue affirmed its place as my "benchmark" blade. I set the Slim on "8" for the first & second passes and then dialed down to "6" for the half pass on my neck. A near BBS shave ensued. The "High Speed" left my face feeling great.
Splashed on some "American Blend" and was set to run the day up the flagpole and see if anyone saluted.
Have an outstanding day my fellow Denizens!!
  18. As you've been reading from my posts on soap shaves of late, there are times when I feel good enough after just the first pass.
