Thank you Jason. My lower left neck hair grows all in one direction and just seems to be easier to shave. My lower right neck hair growth is in all directions at once and really difficult to shave requiring the extra pass.
It's a Maggard's Black and White it is an awesome combo and a fantastic brush. Sent from my XT1710-02 using Tapatalk
I have been playing along from home, keeping only my Slim constant and changing blades and soaps as the mood strikes! But I have enjoyed using my Slim exclusively, and trying to get more quality shaves with the blade (for the last year I tossed every blade after 4 uses; now I am just relaxing and seeing how many shaves are possible without going crazy!). And I have been keeping the soap constant for 6 days or so to make sure that I can fine tune things. Anyway, the point being that I think I have been setting my Slim too high! I seem to get a much more comfortable shave 1 notch down from my "standard start setting" of 6. I would never have guessed this. So for the remainder of the month, all shaves will start at 5. What I experienced was that on days off of work, I often shaved at a lower setting as I knew that the next shave will be much less than 24 hours later. And I would typically go back to setting 6. But I was noting that shaves at that setting seemed to give a bit of tingle, or worse, a weeper or nick! But 5 was like butter: so smooth and comfy, and no burn or blood! That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!
Welcome to The 30 Day Crew @MaineYooper! Feel free to join in on the chatter. Shenanigans are always encouraged, too.
I have been wet shaving for 5 years now and have collected many goods. I was always jumping from one razor, soap, brush and blade daily, never giving a product it's fair due. I've been using my RazoRock Ti Baby Smooth and Polsilver SI blades (I used a GSB last couple of shaves) for over 6 weeks, in 5 years and who really knows how much money I've spent. I have never had a better shaves. Never. The 30DRFPD way of shaving works! Kerry
The ergonomics of the handle are fantastic. Combined with the sentimental value mine is one of favorite brushes as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Quite a few members between me here in SWLA and Houston. I'll see heavy rain (already started) and wind. Folks west or closer to the Gulf are going to get it worse. Latest predictions say a high pressure zone may keep the storm from going ashore and weakening.

Three passes and the lightest of touch ups under the chin. The Oscar 11 tore up the Oleo Montrose Beach soap into an amazing thick rich lather. Finished with Folsom & Co. Capri. After a long but enjoyable day watching the LPGA Canadian Open Golf Championship at the Hunt Club Course the shave was the perfect finish. BLUE THEME:
