Two days growth with the Timeless Ti 0.95 OC and a Personna blue blade. Sudsy Soapery Sandlewood and Myrrh lathered with a Chubby 2 synthetic. Followed by alum and Krampert's Frostbite.
Another DFS without irritation. The time spent with the Timeless during my two week focus is paying dividends. The 0.95 plate is much more efficient than the 0.68, and requires only a small trade off in attention to detail. A WTG pass and two XTG passes result in the same shave without the buffing the 0.68 plate requires. As I'm a generally a daily shaver, the 0.68 will still be my daily driver, but it's nice to know the 0.95 will step up and take care of business with growth beyond one day. The Personna blue isn't my favorite blade (a bit harsher than I like), but still a sharp and relatively smooth blade. But it's no Voskie
The Sudsy Soapery soaps seem to be my favorite amongst the latest crop of really good artisan soaps. I haven't found the scent that wows me just yet, but in terms of performance, it's absolutely fantastic stuff! I also have some T&S, L&L, Oleo, and Wholly Kaw in my current soap rotation but so far it's the Sudsy by a nose. The Chubby 2 Synth is a new brush, and it is my opinion, the best synth I've used. My complaint against synths is their minimal water holding properties. The Chubby 2 is dense enough, it gets around this. Really liking this brush so far! It's actually earned a place on my counter next to my favorite badger, boar, and horse brushes.
The Krampert's Frostbite! LOVING this stuff! I'm not a huge menthol head, but love the cool blast it provides in the Tampa heat. Incredible skin care properties as well, leaves my face feeling nearly as nice as my favorite Nivea Post Shave Balm with that awesome blast of cool menthol. Very, very good stuff!
