Well here's something I "focused" on this morning,-using less of the Rise Cooling Balm. I used to put too much in my hand and just smear(well, ALMOST)it around my face and neck with the one hand. Smaller and "rub it in" is much better. I'm not much of a "balm" man, but the Rise has a "light ORIGINL Rise scent, so I need to get "focusing" on proper usage of Rise and all other balms I may try later.

August 27, 2017 Gem Damaskeene Open Comb Gem GTFE (2) Ever Ready 100T with TGN Finest CRSW Jeff’s Soap Myrsol Agua Balsamica A couple of new items up in rotation for the week. Since I enjoyed the scent and performance of Jeff's Soap after only one use, I am looking forward to using the soap for an entire week. The brush for the week is an Ever Ready 100T with a TGN Finest knot. This was my first attempt at a vintage brush restoration and reknot project. Over the years I have migrated to using brushes with bigger knots so this brush doesn't get a much use. However, the little Ever Ready works great with the smaller diameter container of Jeff's soap and whipped up a wonderful slick lather. Sticking with a normal 3 pass shave followed by the 1/4 pass on my lower right neck ended in a near perfect shave. A splash of Agua Balsamica left me ready for a relaxing day. I hope everyone has a great Sunday.
The Apollo Mikron is a helluva good shaver. First go head shave at 5.5 setting was simply superb. Tian Li blade. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
