    Blade: Schick
    Razor: Schick I1 injector
    Brush: JR #142 black badger
    Lather: Soap Commander Influence
Post: Witch hazel, Jeeves Black Tea aftershave, Soap Commander Influence balm
    WTG, touch up

Much better results than yesterday's irritation fest. The scent of Influence is terrific. Labeled as Tobacco, Cherry, and Black Tea and you get all of that in a sophisticated mix. The cherry scent is the most prominent to me. The Jeeves Black Tea splash is excellent and I finished off with a little Influence balm. Top-notch all around.

    Have a great day!

  6. Livin' on the edge...Be careful... they'll send you back to the Re-education Camp.

    :D

These brushes just keep getting better and better with use. If you like it now, after about 100 uses, you're going to love, love, love it.

Crazy loud brush handles are (one type of) my kryptonite. That's a good one. I really need a crazy Paladin in my den...7 year olds can be a tough crowd. Congrats on your successful lobby of the First Grade vote.
  7. That's a stunning brush, Randy! The handle reminds me of the Northern Lights. What's the knot?

I'll have to add Stirling Bergamot Lavender to my list of future soaps. The only Stirling soap I have right now is their unscented version, Naked and Smooth.
  8. What's the Parker Variant like?
  9. This is a fantastic blade. A very nice three pass BBS

Woke up late, grabbed what was at hand for a quick shave and headed out the door. Not as relaxing or enjoyable as other days, but good enough.

29 August 2017 Adjustable August Blade Focus Shave

Pre: Plenty of hot water, soap from the container and a hot towel
    Razor: 1967 Gillette Slim Adjustable
    Blade: Timor from Germany
    Brush: Rubberset 303
    Soap: Cella Crema Da Barba
Post: Hot/Cold water rinse, alum block, cold towelx2
    After Shave: Cella Lozione Dopobarba

Gave Cella some love this morning. The Rubberset 303 whipped up a great lather. For being approximately 62 years old this brush does a helluva job. We made 'em good back in the day.
The Slim/Timor duo is rolling right along. 2.5 passes and I was nearly BBS.
The Cella Lozione Dopobarba put the finishing touches on a great Tuesday morning shave.
Have a good 'un brothers & sisters!
  13. Too late, that baby's been clinched.
  14. I think you will be pleased with it. It's a regular in my rotation.
  15. @RetLEO-07, what happened to Col. Sanders' Kentucky Fried Penguin? He seems to have been eaten by a grumpy rattlesnake.
  16. Yup. He's waitin' for another Sparkle Pony to come along.
  17. It is really a great soap. The scent is a floral/melon take on a barbershop scent to my nose. The best part is all the proceeds go to help Jeff with his fight to survive.
