    Razor: Schick J1 Injector
    Blade: Schick Proline B (4)
    Brush: Razorock Plissoft 22
    Cream: KMF fragrance-free
    Post: Alum, Listerine, WH

Shave #4 and the Proline B is still hanging in. No issue with G-slides today and an issue-free near-BBS.

I'm considering skipping Thursday's shave so that I will be ready to start SEptember with some decent beard growth and a newly acquired MMOC.

  3. Thanks! I saw one the other day on a B/S/T for just $20. But I don't need it - just want it - and have bought some more software recently so I didn't pursue it.

Today I used the Williams soap. I found it very easy to lather but had very little, if any, scent to speak of. I now know why some people add a little AS to the soap before lathering. I made a stick of Williams and Arko as I like the scent of Arko. That should work great, we shall see. The second pass the lather was a little thin but that was the brush not the soap. I added just a little more water to the brush and it lathered right up.

I heard back from the seller/maker of the brush. They said there was a mix up in shipping I got someone else's brush. Their are going to send me the correct brush now and I have the choice of sending back this brush or paying another $15 to keep it. They said the brush I got was a faux finest badger brush, which would explain why the brush has not bloomed out like your typical badger brush does. I think I will just keep the brush.

This mornings shave was another facerbation shave. Leaving me very smooth and happy. Why more people don't shave with Lather Catchers is beyond me. The shave is worth double what I paid for the razor. It was shave #2 on the Treet Blade and should smooth out from here out. Due to the lack of scent with the Williams I finished off the shave with some Rose Petal WH.

Friday is my next shave with the 1900. I recently got some Electric Sheep Soap and a Maggard 22mm knot for a handle that lost it's knot, so those will be up for the pairing on Friday. I am looking forward to it. These are the times I wish my beard would grow faster.

    Razor: Schick J1 Injector
    Blade: Schick Proline B (5)
    Brush: Razorock Plissoft 22
    Cream: KMF fragrance-free

An odd thing happened today... I actually finished the big bottle of KMF. I really thought that that thing was going to last years. :)

This is the fifth consecutive shave with the J1 and Proline B. The shaves continue to be smooth and issue-free, but this one was not quite as close as some of the previous ones. I'd call it a DFS, though, but wonder if the blade is starting to decline a bit.

  13. JAMIE'S SINGLE EDGE SHAVE ---> August 30th - Today I used a GEM G Bar for the 1st time. I have had this razor for a while, I wish I used it sooner! very mild but it aggressively annihilates the whiskers. Used a new PAL carbon blade and this blade just consistently treats my face great.
