August 31, 2017 Razor: Schick J1 Injector Blade: Schick Proline B (6) Brush: Razorock Plissoft 22 Cream: KMF fragrance-free Post: Alum, Listerine, WH One final shave for August with the J1 and Proline B. Apparently, this blade still has some life left in it as I was able to get a BBS out of it. I'm still not sure that the blade holds up as well as a Chick, but it does seem to do well with a bit of care. And that brings another month to a close. Much of this month has been about Injectors though I did stay with the theme of Adjustable razors for Fatboy Fridays. Along the way, I even got to finally figure out what the deal is with the Dollar Store Dorco blades and they are not really that bad a blade. SEptember will be about Gem razors. I've been somewhat mixed about them so far but hope that a Gem MMOC and some serious focus might change my mind.
August 31, 2017 - I went back to GEM G BAR - used a PAL carbon blade on 2nd shave.. Once again amazing, smooth and bbs..
Today I pull out an old fave and was very much rewarded... Every player in today's shave performed exemplary....Truely Smashing!
Fri 1st Sept Brass General & Windrose Head + Feather Pro [ 6 ] This Shaves much better with this handle, good balance and control leads to good Shave.

I just finished a five day focus with my Gem MMOC and I can't say enough good things about this razor. I know that many people have not had good experiences with the MMOC, but I had nothing but BBS shaves every day. This razor is efficient, maneuverable and has a nice heft. It didn't bite at all. I need to make it a regular in the rotation.
