Maybe not my holy grail, but if I came across something like this, I'd certainly be interested. It's an awesome travel set.
A while ago, a member here got lucky and found one as part of an ebay lot, but the pricing on them has become beyond insane.
Something going on with the eyes, too. It's almost like he's trying to watch the razor. Hmm... maybe it's an enchanted razor? (He is a Prince, after all.) The whole picture is odd and just keeps getting odder the more you stare at it.
I'd stop if I were you. Blindness, insanity, nobody needs that. (Or just tell yourself he's starting a second pass over the area he just shaved) Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
"I know what you're thinking. 'Is he shaving backwards, or is he just doing a second pass?' Well to tell you the truth, in all the excitement I kinda forgot myself."
A Darwin DE razor for me, even though I use mainly Straights now. My other holy grail item was a Suehiro Gokumyo 20K hone, but I currently have one of those in the post as I type along with a SG10k. I have a lot of stuff and really shouldn't be craving for anything!!!!
As far as razors go, I still have a few, but I continue to troll for them dreaming of someday finding one at reasonable cost. First, a Swing with this handle. I have three others, but not this one. The Cavalier set: The Darwin DeLuxe: I have found a couple of razors that I have searched for very, very extensively, and these two absolutely lived up to the hype. Unique and great. The Kirby Beard & Co.-- Gentle, comfortable, very efficient, superb. I have the one on the left, and recently found another variant of that handle: And the LeResche 77. This a monument to the strange and excellent cultural phenomenon of French engineering and design. It's a well-made Citroen of the razor world. It looks funny, comes apart strangly, feels bizarre, has a mind-blowingly wide blade gap in a huge head that renders a great shave: That all said, I am not searching as hard as I used to be for razors. Brushes however are another matter entirely...
