A simply great shave which was so enjoyable. The Gin+Tonic on the Rocks soap provided tons of lather, the lovely scent was so refreshing, and the menthol gave me a fabulous cooling effect. The Glacial Lemon Chill balm and witch hazel literally froze me out!

Pretty smooth shave but a couple of tiny weepers and some redness along the jawline. Nothing too bad but certainly not as satisfactory as most other shaves. Great lather from Stirling as usual.

SOTD: My first shave with this newly-honed 7/8" Sheffield razor from William Greaves & Sons. This was a Goodwill store pickup in pretty sad shape. New black horn scales, brass & bone wedge, brass hardware & blade restoration. Soap Commander 'Devotion' soap and matching aftershave balm, Stirling 'Kong' synthetic. Three super-smooth passes. A keeper. Have a great Hump Day, gents!

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard)

RazoRock Tuscan Oud today. 20 seconds to load the Whipped Dog Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Vintage Gillette Platinum-Plus in the Gillette Black Beauty. Excellent smooth, close shave. I finished with RazoRock Tuscan Oud aftershave.

Razorock Slab (Rockwell handle), Tian Li with one shim. Not as comfortable as say the Rockwell or V3A) but quite efficient, head shave easy BBS in two.

Rockwell, Slab, V3A. The other razors support the blade closer to its edge.

I haven't seen this razor before. It's like a more aggressive looking Futur with sporty lines.

I hadn't used Stirling soap in a few years, this was my first try of their mutton tallow lanolin formula, and I gotta say it measures up well with other top artisans. It is also a better value than most, since the tub is nearly 6oz.
I also recently traded for CL YRP and I really like the scent - I wasn't sure what yuzu is, but it does smell good and combined nicely with the other scents. Now I smell warm rose more, and the patchouli certainly does not dominate.
