  7. Cant go wrong there! I love the sound of hi-end quality vinyl! I just wish I had more time to devote to it.
  8. I haven't posted about daily shaves, over the past 10 days. things have been chaotic, and I haven't had time to use the straights. I am now able to take my time and enjoy the shaves.

    The past 10 days.
Very smooth shaves, but it takes 3 passes to equal 2 with a straight. Zero nicks or Cuts.

    Razor- Gillette Fatboy
    Blade- Gillette 7 O'Clock Yellows
    Soap- Stirling Ozark Mountain
    Brush- Omega 10098 Boar
Aftershaves- Whatever was closest to my hands.

  9. Nice to have you back with us, Scott. You hang tough, buddy. The rest of America is standing with you.
  10. After using something other than a straight or even a shavette due to circumstances is ok, but using a straight or shavette because you can is pure joy

  14. Fresh off the hone .Razor took an incredible edge .Keen but with some smoothness.I have not used a Japanese Razor in over a month .The shave was effortless .Blade worked extremely well against the grain and in the chin area .Dolphin smooth in three passes .Probably my closest shave in a while .Time to break out the Japanese storage queens.

  15. Dulled this one up and sharlened on my new JNAT. Shave was comfortable until I ran over a small injury on my cheek i'd forgotten about. That was a little rough, but not the razors fault. Same GD66 been shaving with for about a week now. [IMG]

  16. What brand razor is it??
  17. Sorry GD66. Running a test on my honing skills. I wanna see how long it stays shave ready. .
  18. Looks like you ground the shoulders on the GD, or did it come that way?
  19. I thought so, but needed verification. They are great razors, after the rear blade stabilizers are modified.
  20. Tonight's shave was with a chunky Full Hollow Ground Japanese Razor. I had a very nice 2 pass shave, with near BBS results. Zero issues.

    Razor- Japanese "Harthy".
    Soap- Arko/Avon Spicy
    Brush- Omega 10098 Boar
    Aftershave- Shulton Old Spice
