SOTD 9.6.2017 Pre-shave: Hot shower and bloom water Soap: Williams + Cremo Cooling Brush: Marvy bristle boar Razor: Schick type I Blade: Schick (2nd use) Post Shave: Witch Hazel, Nautica Blue AS Balm, Nautica Blue Fragrance Great shave! Very comfortable with this Schick razor and it's only the 2nd time I've used it. This is the first time I've mixed Williams with the Cremo Cooling cream and the initial olfactory response was near negative. I was trying to identify what the mixture smelled like.... WD-40?.... some other lubricant?... I wasn't sure. But I kept on with the mixing and the negative smell went away and I got copious lather, enough for 2 passes on my face and 3 passes and touch-up on my head and then some. I included photos of the pre-shave lather and the post-shave lather. Although the Marvy brush isn't an all-star brush, I can get them for $2.99 at a local drug store and it is a lather-making monster! Have a great day all! Lather bowl before shaving.... Lather bowl after both face shave and head shave... I LOVE MY LATHER!!

Thursday's SE Shave Proraso Pre Shave Palmolive Classic Shaving Cream B 400 by Tom Ever-Ready 1924 CVS SE CWR Thayer's Lemon WH Barbasol AS I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Palmolive Classic Shaving Cream face-lathered well with the B 400 badger brush by Tom. I did the two passes with the Ever-Ready 1924 and CVS SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Barbasol AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
