The cap and comb seem to have a convex, bellied out curve.
Either a proprietary blade or more exposure on the corners?

It does look that way (proprietary blade). Hunting more info.

God is good all the time! My pastor wants me to be the church videographer, and I've accepted the challenge. But I was only using my cell phone to video with. Not the best quality. So we've been trying to find a solution to get a better camera or a better cell phone camera.
So, it hit me last night. As much as I love my guns, and swore I'd never sell one that I didn't put the money back into the hobby, I decided to sell 4 of my cowboy action guns (gems to me with all the work done to them) and use the money to get a better camera and some equipment I'll need to go with it.
If anyone has ever watched Pawn Stars, you know you NEVER get what you think you should get, so I went in with that frame of mind. You have retail, then you have used, then you have pawn pricing. You'll never get retail, and the gun store needs to make a profit, so I only got $500 for the 4 guns. But that was what I expected.
So, now I have a bunch of camera equipment coming this weekend. Here is the camera I'm getting.

And a tripod head to accomodate it.

And then I decided I needed a continuous light box and soft box, so I bought these beauties.


And this to go with it.


I think it's gonna be a fun weekend!

Well I know I said I'd never get another slant, but I ordered an Ox Blood PAA Bakelite Slant along with a pack of Perma-Sharps, Yellow 7 O'Clocks, Astra SS, and a stick of Arko. Let's see if the Bakelite is mild or not.
