This Glacial Black Cherry soap has major menthol to it like all the other soaps of the Glacial line. That scent is just wonderful - nothing at all like Kool-Aid. It's straight black cherry in such a nice way. It gave me so much lather that I could have easily done four passes, although three were all I needed to get a perfect BBS shave. The Glacial Unscented balm and the Rubby Dubby Doo were such a nice, frigid finish!

Hope you all have an awesome day!

Nice vintage decanter! I had to buy one of these telescopes of cologne in order to put some into a 9.5 ounce Shulton bottle that I acquired.

Man, ANOTHER vintage Old Spice decanter! Two on the same page? On this site that is totally believable.

    Razor - Edwin Jagger "Kelvin"
    Blade - Feather Hi-Stainless
Shave Brush - Satin Tip "The Purest"
    Pre-shave Oil - Lather & Wood "unscented"
Shave Soap - Catie's Bubbles "Le Piment de La Vie"
Aftershave - Country Club for Men "Southern Oud"
Post-shave Balm - Retseliney Luxury Skin Care Hyaluronic Acid Face Serum
    Deodorant - Sam's Natural "Tobacco"
    Fragrance - Creed Royal Oud

This is a pretty awesome shave. I like to leave a bit of time in between uses on this one because the scent is soooo good that I don't want to wear it out. I wish Chris of Catie's Bubbles would bring back the exact soap formula. I'm going to try to savor this older luxury cream formula and use it sparingly.

    Friday's shave:

    Stirling Mentholated Pre-Shave Soap
    Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
    Super Speed/Astra day 5
    Vintage Hega Shaving Stick
    Lubriderm Unscented Moisturizer
    Hega AS Splash
    Aramis EdT

A Scandinavian-style shave for tomorrow with an awesome Swedish stick dating back to around the 1940's or so. Does it ever smell traditional and old-school, it lathers great, and the skincare is pretty darned good. A pity it's long since been discontinued because it's so good. A Swedish friend of mine here sent it to me as a gift along with some other great vintage sticks. The Hega aftershave has a neutral scent and it feels very comfortable!

Tried a sample of WhollyCow about 1.5 years ago and blah, nothing special to me but wanted to try their Donkey Milk and much better than before. Still like SdM donkey milk over this one but nice shave. Dense but not as dense as SdM and not as slick post shave feel as SdM. Aroma on this Oud is quite different so if you have any Oud scents expect a little surprise. Not in a bad way just different in that this one is sweet to nose. I have life long sinus issues so not a good source for soap reviews but I like the aroma and strength is around 6.5-7 in MHO and for me I think taking the sweetness down a notch would be better for me. Again, probably just my life long sinus issues picking up scents differently, but this is a good one.

    SOTD 9.7.2017

    Pre-shave: Shower and bloom water
    Soap: RazoRock "The Stallion"
    Razor: Schick type I
    Blade: Schick
    Brush: RazoRock Barber Handle Plissoft
After-shave: Witch Hazel, Nivea Sensitive Balm, RazoRock "The Stallion"

It was a RazoRock day for me. This was the third straight day I used the Schick razor. As soon as I started the shave I experienced significant drag as I brought the razor down on my face. I thought maybe my angle was way off but it happened again. It had to be a "dull" blade. It was only the 3rd use for this Chinese made Schick injector blade but it was dragging through the stubble badly. I immediately changed out the blade and the rest of the shave was completely comfortable and I ended up with a DFS. This only confirmed for me that I can only get 2 comfortable shaves with these Schick blades made in China. As to the soap, I love how it lathers up well, it's slickness, and the Oud scent is pleasant although somewhat strong for my taste. I love this Razorock synthetic brush also.

Hope all of you are having a great day!
