Maya Friday This was my first use of T+S Maya, and the performance is outstanding. The lather is slick and easy to build, the equal of anything I've used. The scent could be polarizing as it starts very strong, but mellows out. I noted coffee, cocoa, tobacco, and other complexity. The aftershave is milky and quickly absorbed. It starts strong, too, but dries down nicely. My skin felt a little tingle for a few seconds - not like an alcohol burn because this is based on witch hazel. The packaging for the AS is high quality glass. Prep: Van Yulay PSO Soap: T+S Maya Brush: Wild West Go Green Razor: Rockwell 6s R6 Blade: voskhod AS: T+S Maya

Fri. 9/8/17 Excellent shave with the Gillette Sensor 5 this morning. Three passes for a dolphin smooth and refreshing finish. Enjoy your day friends.
Until this morning it must have been at least two years since I used this Hega stick so I gave myself a treat today. All I know is that it's a wonderful soap which I'm sure Swedish men really enjoyed back in the 30's and 40's. The lather it gave me was so rich and stable, its scent screams old-school, and it left my skin feeling not only BBS after two passes, it felt moisturized and so comfortable. I had plenty of help from my Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap to clean and soften up my stubble and the blade glided across my face easily. The Hega aftershave went on with zero burn - it felt great! A nice weekend to all and for those living in Irma's path, be safe!
Nice shot - I can feel the cold water..... Hey - I have been doing some cold water shaving.. I start sometimes with hot water after 25 years or so of using hot water its engraved in my brain... but when I remember the cold water is great - especially with Mentholated (and Stirling Glacials being the KING of that) Maybe soon I will feel worthy for the cold water signature

Gotta love the Prismatic - It just feels so nice, to me its a more efficient Gillette Tech - and the angle is so easy to find and feels very mild. The audio feedback is what makes this one of my favorite DE's - I need to use this more...
