Thanks Douglas. I would say it's in pretty good shape. Some minor pitting on the bottom; no plate loss anywhere; TTO doors open nicely. Not my best SS, but I've seen a lot worse.

There's no perfect match for the Ikon Tech head (I'd like to strangle the designer) but the titanium Halo works best for me despite the cosmetic mismatch. Balance point is a bit south of where it should be but the long handle makes up for that in usability In terms of efficiency the Tech is from another planet, best one pass razor I've used (including AC blade stuff). It cuts me on the left upper lip in exactly the same spot my E2 does, just its way of showing who's boss. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk

Just couldn't get the lather I wanted out of the Williams. Did I lose my Williams mojo? Hope not. Anyway, I'm ok. Now go enjoy your day folks.

I actually threw a curveball this morning and changed up the soap and aftershave. Opened the DFS LE soap and this morning, ad for whatever reason did not agree with me, smelled extremely floral but I believe this is citrus, rosemary, lavender based so I reached for Grooming Dept Voyage instead which was more of a deep lemon, musky, light spice sweet aroma. Cant describe this scent correctly but I like it. Overall a fantastic shave. Thick, slick lather and slippery as ice post shave feel. For my aftershave I used Black Ship Grooming White Whale which has musk, amber and citrus which is also in Voyage but not a deep aroma as Voyage.
SOTD 9.8.2017 Pre-shave: Hot shower Soap cream: Nivea Sensitive Shaving Gel Razor: Schick Type I Blade: Chinese Schick (2nd use) Post Shave: Witch Hazel, Nivea Sensitive Balm, Pinaud Musk The Nivea gel is one of my "I'm-in-a-hurry-but-I-wanna-shave" options. I find the Nivea gel slick, easy to lather and comfortable. I did both a face and head shave, 2 passes on each with quick, short follow-ups on trouble spots. Very satisfying and comfortable shave. Have a great day and a great weekend, my friends! Prayers and best wishes to all of you have to endure Hurricane Irma.
