  2. Good to hear you found a tool to modify standard blades! Not a regular paper punch? That deserves a write up with twenty seven eight-by-ten color glossy photographs with circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back of each one explaining what each one was.;)
  3. Did you purchase the Gold Line Set? I've seen Old Money, Four Vices, and now Temple Smoke. How are the scents and holding power?

  5. It's a heavy duty punch suitable for lightweight metal and leather rather than just cardstock like the one discussed in the French forum.

Hope you'll join the Gibbs movement. Sing loud if you want to end war and stuff.

  6. Yes. Scents are subtle (a plus for mustache wax as a strong scent you'll be sniffing all day!); the holding power is decent - not as strong as my usual tin of Lockhart's wax. I do like the "chap stick-style" pocket convenience of taking these tubes with me.

Outstanding shave today. T+S is amazing soap. West Indies is a vetiver, bay rum and spice scent that smells great and pairs well with Chatillon Lux YRP.

  15. Well "those shaves" that I`ve been enjoying have been those that were 'morning chores`. At first I tried an electric(awful), then some different gels, which will be PIFed off along with a lot of other stuff. They were not enjoyed like what I`m used to (thanks to TSD), but not so bad. Thanks for your concern.

  17. The Barber's Delight Straight Razor
    Frank Shaving Boar Brush
    WSP Fougere Noir Soap
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Gillette After Shave Gel

Tried out The Barber's Delight that @TheFiveO honed for me, and boy did it make noise. I did two passes, WTG and a combo of WTG & XTG for the second pass. This thing is pretty sharp. Starting to get more comfortable with a straight as I went a little faster on this shave and no weepers again. Not a BBS shave but a decent DFS shave as I'm still not yet able to go ATG, yet. But at least I'm using my left hand more. One mishap though, my goatee got trimmed a little on one side, so I had to compensate on the other side.

  18. Thank you for the kind words my friend. May the razors bring you many great shaves. You know where to send them whenever they need a touch up
  19. Today's shave was with an old American Made razor. I had a smooth 2 pass shave, that left me with a DFS. Zero issues. I face lathered this cream, and it seemed to work better that using a mug.
