Tuesday's SE Shave Proraso Pre Shave Tabac Shaving Cream Jayaruh #217 Schick E3 Personna Stainless CWR Thayer's Lemon WH Lucky Tiger I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Tabac Shaving Cream face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #217 synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Schick E3 and a Personna Stainless blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Lucky Tiger AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Thank you Andrew. The photo background is rock garden in my lawn. The lawn is so shaded I can only grown rocks.
Thank you Clint. Unfortunately I need some more work with the razor to get a really close shave out of it, maybe that's a fortunate thing. I get to use the Valet some more. Either way it's a fun new razor to use. I have some CS Feather blades for it as well as a NEW strop I had made at a local Tack Shop.
How are you liking that OCMM Jim? Why isn't there a high gloss shine on that razor? Time to break out the Brasso again!
The MMOC gives much better shaves than the Featherweight! Lovin' this razor. I only put a shine on 'em once the week is over!

The storm came The storm went But nothin to it When you're a gent... Irma shave Yeah, I wish it were that easy. But we got off lighter than expected so even with days without power in 90 degree heat and humidity everyone's feeling fortunate. Today's shave with the 1914 came on the heels of the awesome shave with the 1924. I am always torn between which of these two is my preferred razor. Today was no different. I think it's maybe smoother but just the barest bit less close than the 1924. Hard to say but a fantastic result nonetheless. Every shave should be so good. Wed 13th Sept RazoRock Plissoft 22mm Cyril Salter Solid soap Schick E2 Schick Proline Type B [ 3 ] Alum Rub/Rinse off Jaguar Prestige A/S Lotion Though it will never be my daily Razor, there is no doubt that the E2 delivers an awesome Shave. Am really pleased that the AC blade calms down the aggression/harshness a lot, though still a bit difficult initially clearing the chin . Probably one of my closest Shaves this week.
