    It's hard to navigate and deal with poor English translation but the Alibaba site for the manufacturer suggests the dark blue packaged blades are chrome platinum coated, the others not indicated as such. I have a tuck of the Super Blue but haven't tried them yet.

    A couple of goodies just showed up at the door. First, thanks to @swarden43 for sending me this Segal razor. Also this Gillette Gold Aristocrat that is in pretty good shape. Now I'll have to get it's correct case........

    Nice haul. The case your looking for is the square clamshell . Similar to the diplomat in terms of shape. I believe I have one, but I can check when I get home.

    The seller's description said it was from the 40's, most likely right.

    Aristocrat had 2 types of cases. The smaller rectangular case and the square case. These aristocrats are from the 40s but the knurled top ring and the smooth bottom ring narrows it down to approx 1948
