I started a brand-new container of Sharp Dressed Man soap and I enjoyed that beautiful Green Irish Tweed scent so much while I was lathering up -talking about lather, I easily had enough for four passes but three were all I needed for an awesome BBS shave. The Red Delicious aftershave has a nice scent, I must say. Oh, a little shout-out to my mentholated pre-shave soap for the great work it did at cleaning my beard and for giving me a bit of cooling prior to my shave! Wishing everyone a wonderful day, and Shana Tova u Metuka to all the Jewish members here!
Yes. The one in the pic is my first gen. I also have a second gen. Here are their respective albums: First gen: https://imgur.com/a/f4tvX Second gen: https://imgur.com/a/tATlx Comparison: https://imgur.com/a/8YbY1
Both look terrific. I have a handful of razors on my want to buy list, and the Streamline is at the top of the that list.

For today's shave - an excerpt from today's entry my Soap Review Thread. Sorry for the lack of picture. I was in a rush this morning. Today's contender out of my den is Chiseled Face. I have two scents - Santa Paula and Ghost Town Barber. Santa Paula smells exactly like the orange tree we had in our back yard when I was a kid. It's not really an "orange" scent per-se. It combines the smells of orange rind, orange tree bark, leaves, soil, etc. It smells exactly like I'm 10 again and climbing the orange tree in our backyard. If you didn't have that experience in childhood, I'm not sure what your reaction to the scent will be, but I love it. Ghost Town Barber is a tough one to describe. I didn't like it at first but it has really grown on me as a unique scent. Unfortunately, the name is probably as good a scent description as you are going to get from me. Today I chose Ghost Town Barber. This is a softer soap, so my Thater silvertip loaded up quickly and easily, and made quick work of lathering. I'd say this is a lather is midway between "thick and rich" and "thin and slick". As much as I love the "thick and rich" feeling, I usually end up watering down my soaps a bit to increase slickness, and Chiseled Face hit's the mid spot just right for me. The result was a 3 pass BBS, which required no AS (I forgot to use it), but as of this writing several hours later, I don't feel the need for one. For me, Chiseled Face is a solid keeper with good performance and unique scents. I'd put it about on par with Catie's Bubbles in my den.

Ylang-ylang+yuzu = amazing This was my first use of Eufros, and it certainly lives up to the hype. Very thick and slick lather with an exceptionally smooth post shave feel. The scent is like an older, woody citrus, not as bright as other ylang-ylang I've smelled. My wife thought it smelled old, but I still wanted to try and I'm glad I did. This pairs very nicely with Chatillon Lux YRP - the yuzu note especially helps bring out the citrus accord. Outstanding shave in every way.
