The Stirling MITA SS is wonderful, lathers so easily and is freezing cold. My face is happy. Now go enjoy your day folks
The reason I asked is my fondness for woody scented AS. I think that your description of the scent is very good. Gives me a perspective that I can imagine how it smells. Sounds interesting. Thanks!

Bulldog face wash Omega pro49 TOBS Sandalwood Gillette Tech Astra SP A little alum, and Nivea sensitive Post Shave Balm A good shave. Two passes with touch ups. Definitely reduced irritation by removing a pass but managed to keep it smooth by doing one WTG, then one (mostly) ATG. There are some areas I still can't do ATG which get a pass across instead. Feel just about ready to give up on my 30 days as I feel I have learned a lot about using my Tech and I'm getting back to back DFS shaves. Since I have 2 new razors arriving ( and then hopefully no more !) it's time to move onto a different one I think. I have had the Schick Krona the longest so may attempt a month with that, or I have my 50's super speed to try. HD rocket may be a step too far...
Today's shave was with a newly acquired, and honed wedge razor, from Olean NY. I had a very very sharp and smooth 2 pass shave, that left me BBS, and with a couple of weepers. I didn't know they were there, until the aftershave went on. I guess I did a few too many strokes on the Arkansas Surgical Black Stone. Too Sharp. These Union Cutlery "Spike Razors", are a beautifully built and a perfectly balanced razor, that can take on an edge, sharper than is needed. Razor- Union Cutlery Co. "Spike". True Wedge razor. Brush- Omega 10098 Boar Soap- Arko/Rose Scented Aftershave- Shulton Old Spice. NOS Admiral Decanter. Take that @Douglas Carey . I had to wipe off the dust from the box.
Wowser! I saved the PAL Injecto-Matic aka “The Schick Buster” until after I completed the trifecta of the Schick D, E1, and F. If you’ve never shaved with a PAL IM you owe it to yourself to get one. While the H aka “The Hussy”can take the PAL IM down in a shave-off it is hands-down one of the best shaves you can get. Keeping a very, very light, the lightest of touches, is the key. Saturday Straight/SE 's Shave Proraso Pre Shave Arko Extra Performance Jayaruh #216 Lee Mfg. 5/8 Schick G Personna Stainless CWR Thayer's Lemon WH Vegetal I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Arko Extra Performance Shaving Cream face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #216 synthetic brush. I did the first pass with the Lee Mfg. 5/8 razor and cleaned up with my Schick G and a Personna Stainless blade. I ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Clubman Vegetal AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
