No SEptember would be complete without a shave with the PAL Adjustable. Another razor with stunning good looks and a great shave. It has a very narrow sweet spot but sweet it is when you find it - or "catch the shy girl" as @Billyfergie would say. I kept it on 3/4 for the first two passes and dropped to 1/2 for the final pass. This is one silent and smooth shaver. Nothing but face rubbing goodness to make the dolphins jealous. Menthol Monday's SE Shave Proraso Pre Shave Proraso Shaving Soap Jayaruh #206 AutoStrop VB1 Feather Stainless SE CWR Thayer's Lemon WH Pinaud Clubman I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Proraso Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #206 badger brush. I did two passes with the AutoStrop VB1 razor and a Feather Stainless SE blade. I ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Pinaud Clubman AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
Mon 25th Sept Been away for a week in UK staying with Friends & Relatives so no SOTD Reports. Took 2 Razors with me, but after 1st day decided the Bathroom conditions were good to try out an ATT Se1. Had great shaves with the Proline till it gave up on its 12th use. Perhaps not the ideal combo for a dismal Hotel Room, but worked very well on this trip. The ATT Se1 fits nicely into the DE Case, and I used the Haslinger Honig as it had proved good when used on previous trips in conjunction with the Omega Syn. brush. So pleased with the Travel experience, used the ATT today at Home, and got a superb Shave. ATT Se1 & Schick Proline [ 2 ]
