1. It's a good thing I used the Glacial Obsidian soap and balm this morning because it's already 85 degrees outside. The freeze felt delightful. Another blistering-hot day tomorrow means the Glacial Black Cherry or MITA - gotta keep cool somehow! lollll

  2. I decided on Glacial MITA for tomorrow's shave!

  3. Received a special haul today. Dirty South Shavers is a Facebook group and they held a meet-up earlier this month in Memphis. I wasn't able to attend but Rod made these special sets for the event. He opened them up to the group as a whole after the meet-up. One scent is a vanilla pipe smoke iteration and the second one is based on Abercrombie Fierce cologne. Both are outstanding! I also got a bar of the mentholated pre-shave soap. I'm using the vanilla pipe smoke soap tomorrow.

  4. For those that use Stirling pre-shave soap: How do you use it? I know that sounds silly, but do you work up a lather in your hands like a bar soap and then wash your face? Do you work up some lather on a brush and apply it? What has worked best for you??

  8. Perry, I just work up a lather in my hands and rub it into my face, then I leave it on for a couple of minutes while I brush my teeth. Then I rinse it off.

  9. That Glacial MITA soap froze me to smithereens this morning. Afterwards the Glacial Unscented balm felt so delightful!

  10. I just use it as a face soap, whether I am shaving or not.

  14. Oh, I wouldn't be surprised. I'm that way with "Wild West" fragrances. Nothing "Wild" here exept the way people drive, lol.

  15. I wonder what that scent is like?

  16. The splash reminds me of the Barbershop splash due to the vanilla element that adds a sweetness. The pipe smoke element is a little muted to me so far. But, I'll confess my scent vocabulary and understanding is pretty low! It's a nice scent regardless!

  17. The Barbershop scent is one of my top favorites. (My wife detests it!) In some ways I find it would pair very well with Brut aftershave and cologne.

  18. The Barbershop soap and splash were a little different for me. The soap was more subtle with a hint of powder. The splash (again, for me) was vanilla and caramel. It was quite sweet.

  19. How's this for a great Stirling freeze tomorrow?

Glacial Spearmint soap and the matching balm, then Alcolado Glacial Menthol Splash all over my face, head, and body!

  20. I detect powdery notes from the soap. Just my type of scent.
