Tonight's shave was with a Japanese made Straight Razor. I had a very noisy and smooth 2 pass shave, that left me with a DFS. Zero issues. I am currently testing two $10 Boar brushes, recommended as some of the best Boars. Both are fantastic, but the Stirling outclasses the Omega, hands down, so far. Razor- Japanese "Bellman 45". Swedish Steel. Brushes- Stirling Boar, is super soft, and very comfortable face lathering brush. Top notch handle. Omega 10066 Boar. Thicker bristles, more backbone. Very good at lathering. Adequate handle. Not cheap, not expensive feeling. Soap- Arko/Rose scented Aftershave- Avon Spicy

Tonight's shave was with a German razor. I had a perfect 2 pass shave, that left me near BBS. Zero issues. Razor- J.A.Henckels Friodur . No Stain Brush- Stirling Boar Soap- Arko/Rose scented. Aftershave- Shulton Old Spice, "Fresh Lime".
It pretty much did roll straight from the factory. I believe it was NOS. It cost me too much, at the time. $45, with fresh box and paperwork.
From what I remember, you are the reason bought that razor. You enabler!!! I believe you kept going on, about how good they were. So, I needed to give one a try. It's a very god razor. Thanks.
