You know what’s been missing from the classic SE shaves I’ve had this month? A twin blade. That’s what been missing. My Eddison Floating Head with a twin blade delivers about as perfect a shave as you can get. Super easy, super smooth, super close. The floating head is not gimmick - it really does ride the curves and keeps near perfect contact at all times. This is a private label from Israel and is identical to my Personna Floating Head. Everyone should have one, they are that good. Tonight's shave was with a Japanese made Straight Razor. I had a very noisy and smooth 2 pass shave, that left me with a DFS. Zero issues. I am currently testing two $10 Boar brushes, recommended as some of the best Boars. Both are fantastic, but the Stirling outclasses the Omega, hands down, so far. Razor- Japanese "Bellman 45". Swedish Steel. Brushes- Stirling Boar, is super soft, and very comfortable face lathering brush. Top notch handle. Omega 10066 Boar. Thicker bristles, more backbone. Very good at lathering. Adequate handle. Not cheap, not expensive feeling. Soap- Arko/Rose scented Aftershave- Avon Spicy
Smells like the Drug Store SEptember!!!! (Stirling Booster) September 26 Razor - Kai Captain Original AC Blade - (2) Soap - Truefitt & Hill 1805 Brush - Jayaruh #46 ASOD - The Veg It's a PAINSTICK PALOOZA around here! I skipped the head shave last week when I was sick so had two weeks of hair to get rid of there. I tried the Slim/Astra on 9 but it jammed up almost instantly. Only one solution. Grabbed the Feather SS and went after it and got a fantastic smooth chrome dome using Arko for the soap. No issues. I'm thinking pain sticks may need to become mandatory for all head shaves. For my "regular" shave I switched to the Kai Original and used the T&H 1805 and JR46 brush for great slick lather. Two passes and touch ups and I very nearly got the baby in the house. Super shave to set up for the week at work. I'll head out the door with the Mighty Mighty Veg leading the way in the morning. Two pain sticks - no waiting!
RAZOR: Sabi Gen 1 TTO - (4 inch brass handle, medium weight, Gunmetal finish) - Last shave was less smooth than expected. BLADE: DORCO ST-300 Platinum - only used once - blade was hand stropped * shim added under blade PRE SHAVE: NONE SHAVE CREAM: CREMO LATHERING SHAVE CREAM - Sandalwood BRUSH: SheaMoisture Ultimate Shave Brush - black badger knot. Plenty of rich lather for multiple passes. POST SHAVE: NONE AFTER SHAVE: Murray & Lanman Florida Water Cologne Got an excellent 3 pass BBS shave with minor touchups. Very enjoyable semi-aggressive razor feel. Razor was much smoother and very comfortable. I attribute this to the blade stropping & shim. Still very good blade exposure with nice audible feedback. ALSO, this was my 1st use of the CREMO Lathering Shave Cream. Very nice lather, good scent. Maybe could have a little more cushion, but very nice product. SUCCESS! Thanks fellow TSD members!

Enjoyed it. No straight razor today, but will think about it for tomorrow.
Love Country Club for Men aftershaves that I bought. Great stuff. One of the best aftershave artisans. He should be a lot bigger as a shave product player based on his talent.
