Not quite sure why....but when I first saw the Aqua Velva Ice Sport, what I managed to read was Aqua Vanilla Ice Sport. Maybe he should jump in the aftershave game and come up with his own Vanilla Ice line, since you don't hear much about his music career these days. Ice Ice Baby! Ohhh..."Ice Ice BBS" - the newest fragrance in the Vanilla Ice Collection. Ok....I'll stop while I'm ahead... Great photo and setup though! And, fantastic job on the bowl!
Yep....I think it was only for one season. Then he got into trouble for stealing from a neighbor, or something along those lines.

Jim, how do you like the Palmolive shave stick? I have one and plan to use it and a couple of others in a focus next month.
I like it quite bit. I have only had one bad shave stick experience, and that was Erasmic. Palmolive is right up there with Arko or La Toja.
I haven't had much success getting well hydrated lather from a shave stick. So I'm going to use one every other shave during October. I have a Palmolive stick, a Wilkinson Sword stick, and will have an Arko stick. I had a La Toja stick a while back but sold it because of my lack of great lather. Looking forward to working on better technique with them. One problem is that I rubbed in too much soap. Less is more it seems.
We have the saying "Load it like it owes you money." I treat shave sticks the same way. I run them on my face until I can't get any more off the stick. I just keep dipping my brush tips into water to add hydration.
What are the two blade choices? I have one or two Valet Autostrops in my collection but have never gotten them running. The only blades I have for them are vintage Autostrop labelled ones and carbon blades that old don't really appeal for some reason.
