Not looking for a quality discussion. Only looking to hear who makes expensive soaps. they must be currently in production and not be expensive because they were good, are no longer made and are rare to find. Must be currently available. US dollars please. Price is including jar, when available. What I know of so far are: Martin de Candre (~$70) PannaCremma Nuavia ($~$60) Aqua di Parma Cream ($50-70) Anything else?
Czech and Speake has a couple, including Oxford and Cambridge (lavender). About 40 USD, plus 120 if with dish. Boellis Panama 1924 (almond). About 50 USD. Creed, including vetiver. 125 USD. Penhaligon's. XPEC. Santa Maria Novella (cream).
Nope. Cheap does not equate to poor scent. TOBS, Captain's, etc. is cheap with awesome scent. Grin. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
I'll tell you this - the Stirling soaps belong in this price point. At their prices they're almost a steal.
Mitchell's Wool Fat is about $35 if you buy the porcelain container, you can get a refill puck for about $15.
Most soaps simply aren't worth the higher price tags. MDC and klar yield so many more shaves, so they are in the "rare exception" category.
